We say goodbye

Dear companions, supporters and those interested in the Capital of Culture,

For more than three years, the European Capital of Culture 2025 application office in Nuremberg has been establishing themes, initiating processes, networking, planning local, regional and international programs and events, and setting the course for the cultural future of the city and the region. From our point of view, we were not victorious in the end, but successful nonetheless. We hope that Nuremberg will continue to have the courage to change, that the creativity of countless committed people in the city and the region will continue to be visible, and that many of the N2025 projects and ideas can be pursued even without the title.

Capital of Culture was a matter close to our hearts, but now it's time to say goodbye. Our office will close at the end of January 2021. Our work will be continued by our colleagues in the mayor's department. We would like to thank them for their cooperation and wish them all the best for the future!
