Digital city visit
On October 23, we hosted our digital jury visit at the not-yet-completed "Zukunftsmuseum", an important milestone on the way to becoming the Capital of Culture 2025. It was opened by Lord Mayor Marcus König, 2nd Mayor Prof. Dr. Julia Lehner and the head of our bid office Prof. Hans-Joachim Wagner. Live talks, short lectures and pre-recorded video contributions alternated. The "City Visit" was divided into three thematic blocks: "This Is Nuremberg", "Past Forward" and "Templates For The Future". After each block, the jury asked the protagonists questions.
Due to the current regulations concerning Corona in Nuremberg, we unfortunately could not organize an event in public space, even though we would have liked to do so. But we visited various places and people with the camera. For example, we had a look around the Kulturwerkstatt Auf AEG, visited the "Hello Pegnitz" project of the group N-Ort, were on the road in the region and talked to various cultural actors. We sincerely thank the more than 50 people who enriched this day, whether live in the "studio", in advance in the video or connected from all over the world.
