Net­work Ana­ly­sis of Cul­tu­ral Actors

In cooperation with the Netzwerk Kulturberatung in Berlin, we carried out a scholarly network analysis of the cultural actors in the European Metropolitan Region of Nürnberg. It is the most extensive study of its kind in German-speaking countries to date. The objective of the analysis was to detect existing regional and international cooperation networks between cultural actors.

One key finding of the analysis is that universities and educational institutions play a central role as network nodes for the cultural sector in the region.
